"Dortmunder Tafel" food bank charity

We all throw perfectly good food away again and again as it can no longer be sold for a number of different reasons. The Dortmunder Tafel food bank charity collects this food and hands it out to people who need it. Contributions of money and donations in kind plus the massive commitment of a large number of volunteers give many people a little extra in life.

At the beginning of 2013, the Dortmunder Tafel charity asked for help in financing a refrigerated van for hygienically transporting sensitive foods. Murtfeldt Kunststoffe joined the sponsorship group, with the help of which the urgently needed special van was purchased very quickly. This has now been in use by volunteer drivers since February 2013 for the transport of food to the various issuing points and carries the logos of the sponsors.
